1.Royal Palace
There are few significant attractions in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia but our first pick to start our day is visiting The Royal Palace, located in the central of the city along the Mekong River. The Royal Palace opens publicly every day from 8 am to 5 pm in the evening to welcome tourists from all over the world to see its beauty and learning about its history. 2. National Museum

3.S21 Genocide Museum
The fresh wound of Cambodian people was the civil war, which had recently finished 40 years ago. This war caused millions of deaths, handicap people and soldiers and distraught families. S21 is one of many others which then used as prison by Khmer rouge regime and infamously killed roughly ten thousand of innocent people and war hostage.
4.Cherng Ek Genocide Museum
Cherng Ek is located south of Phnom Penh city about 40 minutes by local transportation tuk tuk. It is also a museum of remembering who had been unjustly killed during the Khmer rouge era.
5.Wat Phnom
Wat Phnom is the most famous landmark in Cambodia. It is believed to be a birthplace of Phnom Penh city around 400 years ago. This hilly site was initiated to build by grandmother who was then known as “Lady Penh”. She built it purposely for worshiping after she collected 4 small Buddhist status and 1 Hindu status of god from the flowing river of Mekong. These 5 statuses had washed up from nowhere and stuck behind the lady house inside the carving hole of the logging.

However, from a great sacrifice for the independent of his country, the former king of Cambodia, Norodom Sihanouk was the key to successive independent reclamation from the government of France by 9th November 1953.
