After having a full day of roaming through the hectic of tourist around the Phnom Penh city, I know you want to sit back and relax by the bar or inside your room. However, there is one thing that you need to enjoy to finally finish your day in a cool breeze and that is “the river cruise”.

You can find the port of the cruise boat next to Tonle Sap restaurant, which is about 100 meters away from the Phnom Penh’s night market. At there, you can purchase a ticket of 5$ and hop on the boat for the fresh evening ride.

To what it’s best, grab some cold beers, relax and enjoy the view of the city life from the middle of the river. The total of the ride is about 30 mins to 40mins and the greatest time to enjoy it all is the early evening around 5:30 pm, therefore you can enjoy the sunset view.

Be notice, there will be a lot of local people in the evening of the weekend and I believe that what makes it special than a typical touristic cruise.
